Mr. Huddleston is survived by his wife of 47 years, Aline; four children, Joyce Johnson, Jack Huddleston Jr. (Sherry), Jay Huddleston (Sherry Herrick); stepdaughter, Irma Shipman; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren plus one on the way;and two great-great-grandchildren.
Jack served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he received a combat infantryman's badge for his actions.
He was born and grew up in Rosehill, Illinois, a son of Loyed and Margaret (Gosnell) Huddleston. He has one brother, Joe (Pat) Huddleston and one sister, Joyce (Don) May.
Jack worked for Illinois Central Railroad as a conductor for 43 years, earning retirement in 1993.
He enjoyed traveling to Florida after his retirement. He also enjoyed mowing yards in Candlewood Estates where he resided.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his daughter, Joni Johnson.
