Actress. Best known for her comedy sketches with Loriot, she was also known for her roles as the housekeeper in "The Black Forest Clinic" and Thea in "The Country Doctor" on German television. Coming from a musical family, she studied at the School for Music and the Performing Arts in Hamburg with Juergen Prochnow and worked on the stage for a number of years. She also worked as a audio book performer. In 1993, she took the title role in the German television dramedy series Adelheid and Her Murderers. She died after a year long fight with lymphoma.
