Miss Laura L. Thomas, 88, formerly of McComb, died 3:25 p.m. Monday in the Oak Grove Manor Nursing Home, Deshler, where she had resided for the past three months.
Born in Pleasaznt Township May 12, 1880, she was a daughter of Henry B. and Ruth Ann (Archer) Thomas, and was a lifelong resident of Hancock County.
She never married.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Curtis, Deshler.
A brother, Delos (Bud), and three sisters, Orlida Mygrant, Estella King, and Minnie Lucinda Ewing preceded her in death.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Portage Chapter United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m.Thursday in the Hartley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert P. Miller Sr. officiating. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
