Judith was born in Lewistown, Mont., on February 7, 1926, to William R. and Daisy Miller. She was raised near Winifred, Montana and attended the Brush Creek Country School until 8th grade. In 1943, she moved with her parents to Hilger, Montana and attended Lewistown High School.
On April 1, 1944, she married Harold Foster of Hilger. To this union, three sons were born, Melvin, Norman and Douglas. In 1956, the family moved to Ennis, and in 1958, to Manhattan, Mont.
Judith was a secretary and worked at the National Bank in Lewistown and for doctors in Bozeman. She retired in 1986.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her son, Melvin; her parents; three sisters, and one brother. Survivors include her two sons, "Fuzz" Norman and Douglas; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial will be held at Meadowview Cemetery on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at 2 p.m.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the charity of one's choice.
