Bertha “Mae” Burdett, 82, died of natural causes Wednesday, April 17, in National City, Calif.
Bertha was born May 19, 1908, in Missoula to Julius and Nettie Simmert. She grew up in Missoula and married Lawrence J. Burdett June 15, 1926. They raised their family in Logan where they lived for 45 years. For many of those years Bertha owned and operated the Logan Hotel. In 1985, they returned to Missoula, then lived briefly in Ogden, Utah, before moving to National City.
Survivors include one daughter, three sons, a brother and sister, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
