Actor. Born in Paris, France, Vadim, his parents and four siblings moved to Canada at the age of 10. He started acting around this time, acting in commercials for Nike, did voice acting for shows such as Caillou, and gained a reputation as a talented singer. He is always remembered by his friends as being a warm, very good friend on set. He is best known for his role as Sébastien Dubé on the TV show "15/Love." The show aired from 2004 to 2006, after Schneider's death. The show, about high school tennis players, was dear to his heart, as Schneider had a passion for tennis. Another character on the show was played by actress Jaclyn Linetsky, her character named Megan O'Connor. In the show, Megan and Sébastien were mutually falling in love together. Two months into shooting the show, both Schneider and Linetsky were killed on September 8th, 2003, by traffic collision. They were both on their way to the set of 15/Love as the vehicle went off its original trajectory around 10:20 A.M. to go through the middle band of the highway and found itself in the wrong direction, the van then swerved into oncoming traffic where it then crossed the median and struck a 20-foot semi-truck head on, causing the vehicle to burst into flames. Both were sadly killed instantly. Both Schneider's and Linetsky's characters were killed off, with the plot line being that they were on an airplane that crashed off the coast of the Isle of Wright, with no survivors.
