Ivan J. Bezon, age 85, of Holland, died Friday, November 6, 2009.
Ivan was born June 15, 1924 in Holland, Michigan to John and Minnie (Plakke) Bezon.
Ivan was a faithful member of the Holland Seventh Day Adventist Church. He died looking forward to the resurrection morning when he will be changed into immortality.
Ivan was a veteran serving as a paratrooper in World War II.
Ivan is survived by his wife of 65 years, Myra J. (Stygstra) Bezon and sons: Dr. Dan (Jean) Bezon of Andover, New Hampshire, John (Trudy) Bezon of Holland. Grandchildren:
Matthew, Johnathan, and Amanda Bezon. Sisters in law: Annabelle Lubbers and Bernice Stygstra . Nephews, nieces and many other family and friends.
A funeral service will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 11279 Ottogan in Holland. Reverend Craig Harris will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00PM one hour prior to the service in the church. Arrangements are by Lakeshore Memorial Services.
