Lloyd E. Gowen, age 83, died Friday in the Mt. Diablo Medical Center at Concord.
He has resided at Walnut Creek for 27 years.
He was a member of the Walnut Creek Model Railroad Club.
In co-operation with the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, he ran the Northern California Junior Badminton Tournament for many years.
He was an excellent bridge player.
