Gary Smith, 79, of Lutz, died Thursday in a local hospital. Mr. Smith was a native and life-long resident of Lutz. Survivors are two sons, Seth Smith, Winter Garden, and Harmon Smith, Lutz; six daughters, Mrs. Mattie Asbel, Mrs. Mabel Harrell, Mrs. Flossie Green, Mrs. Eva Fish, all of Lutz; Mrs. Samantha Mason and Mrs. Daisy Wood, both of Tampa; two brothers, Alvin Smith, Tampa, and Will Smith, Sebring; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Strickland, Tampa; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
