Emma Lemons Heeb moved to the Gallatin valley as an infant, in a covered wagon. The family settled at Spanish Creek in the Gallatin Canyon. In 1900 she moved to Manhattan and on Dec 31, 1901 she married John Heeb at Salesville (Gallatin Gateway). The Heeb's lived in Manhattan until 1924, when they moved to Glendale California where they lived until her husband died in 1947. That same year she moved to Long Beach. Survivors include her son Ernest of Bozeman, daughters Mrs. Harold Paige of Long Beach, Mrs Joana Warmack of Santa Monica; a brother Ira Lemons of Wilsall, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
