Julius and his brother Oliver E Kennedy were both children playing in a sandbox at there Guilford County NC home in 1865 when A Man Starteled them and said "Go ahead And Play Boys" Little did they know that the Man in there Front Yard Was General Joe Johnston who was Surendering to the Northern Army. Julius with his Parents Moved from Guilford Co. NC in 1868 and come to Hendricks co Indiana. Being Quaker they Settled near Plainfield in Guilford Twp. They Then atended Mill Creek MM.
Julius Kennedy married to Etta Coffin a d/o Charles and Mary Hale Coffin Nov 28,1890 Danville Indiana and had a son Arthur in 1892. Etta died and Julius married 2nd to Elizabeth Marshall a d/o Thomas and Mary Hacklay Marshall April 12,1894 in Marion County Indiana. They had children Esther born 1897, Mary A. Kennedy born 1895 Julius was a Skilled Carpenter and Builder and he Remained in the Hendricks County area.
