Acclaimed Musician. One of the greatest "Delta Blues" musicians. Taking up the music in his twenties, he was a inspiration to many to follow him, including Robert Johnson. "Lost" for several decades, and working for the New York Central Railroad as a porter, he was rediscovered in the early 1960s, and was fortunately heard by many who knew nothing of his contributions to the blues.
