Nathan Boddie was a member of the Provincial Congress at Halfax Co., NC. A framer of the State Constitution in North Carolina. Member of Committee of Safety in 1774; in 1777 Member from Edgecombe, NC in the 1st., General Assembly (House of Commons). Member of the Senate from Nash County, NC, August 8, 1778 after the close of the war in 1781.
