AN ASIDE: I first met Marv when we were assigned to the same Air Force Security Police unit at Andrews AFB in the early 1960s. We travelled with and secured Special Missions aircraft transporting U.S. Cabinet and Congressional Members; Foreign and Domestic Dignataries, and others to locations in the States and around the world.

I left the unit in 1967 but met Marv again in early 1972 during OZR Training preparatory to Vietnam. We were both assigned to Da Nang AB and became "hoochmates" until his transfer to Tan Son Nhat AB seven months later. Our earlier friendship definitely helped us through the latter times.

NOTE: The Dept of Veterans Affairs listing reflects his burial location as Holy Cross Cemetery. I was informed by the cemetery office that Holy Cross maintains administrative control of both cemeteries.
