Aaron, Eugene "Gene" Fayetteville, AR Age 86, died Monday, November 27, 2006. He was born February 9, 1920 in Glenfork, KY to Hardin and Fannie Collins Aaron. Mr. Aaron moved to Fayetteville a year ago from Ann Arbor, MI. Mr. Aaron served in the Army during WWII. He retired after 35 years as maintenance director with the University of Michigan Hospital. He enjoyed time with his family, nature and the outdoors, and working his farmland in Saline, MI. Mr. Aaron married Grace Ann Shanz on October, 10 1947. He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters. Survived include his wife, Grace Ann Aaron of the home; a daughter, Sandra K. Burnette and husband Don of Fayetteville, AR; a sister, Judith Antle of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Paige Aaron Frost, Christopher Lee Burnette and Morgan Branham all of Fayetteville, AR; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale with Chaplain Chuck Bengtson officating. Interment will be at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Bearers will be Don Burnette, Chris Burnette, and Marty Frost.
