Peacetime Medal of Honor Recipient. Buried under the name of Thomas Crimmins. He entered the US Navy in Massachusetts and served as a Boatswain's Mate. His citation reads "On board the USS Portsmouth, Washington Navy Yard, 7 February 1882. Jumping overboard from that vessel, Cramen rescued Charles Taliaferro, jack-of-the-dust, from drowning."
