Deakins; a son, Jeffery Thomas and wife Karen Deakins of Daphne, Ala.; a daughter, Kimberly Ann and husband Charles Porter of Rogers, Ark.; and five grandchildren, Brittany Porter Eggebrecht and husband Chauncey, Zachary and Mikayla Porter, all of Rogers, Ark., Sarah and Coleman Deakins of Daphne, Ala.; a sister-in-law, Peggy Smith of Northport, Ala.; one brother, Ted Palmer of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; three sisters, Peggy Allen of Flomaton, Ala., Sylvia Goodwin of Fairhope, Ala. and Jean Pearson of Northport, Ala.; 11 nieces and nephews and their families.
