Charles Warren Everhart was the son of Solomon Siegel Everhart (1847-1933; born in Coshocton County, Ohio), and Nellie L. Bacon (1857-1939; born in Schuyler County, New York).

He married Ina Marie Bray in Macon County, Missouri on October 24, 1921.

Charles was working as a restaurant manager when he died in 1922 at the age of 25 from a skull fracture in Brookfield, Missouri. (Missouri Death Certificate #5446)

His father, Solomon Everhart, served in the Civil War (27th Missouri Infantry). Two of Solomon's brothers (Benjamin and Simeon) died of disease in 1863 while serving with the 7th Missouri Cavalry. Simeon is buried in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. (Find A Grave Memorial# 81302961)
