died Oct. 1st A.D. 1840
Endowed with an excellent understanding
Rich in accomplishments and virtues
and early the subject of renovating grace.
She was an ornament in the church,
the delight of her friends
And a crown to her husband
in the bloom of her youth.
In this same grave is buried their first born son
Samuel Jones Bacon who died Oct 6th 1840
Aged 3 years 1 month 14 days
