She was born Oct. 25, 1919, in Macomb County, to August and Efrosina (Neumann) Zado. She married Herbert Kesel in Detroit during World War II.
She enjoyed music, entertaining friends and volunteer work in the Rochester community prior to her move to this area. In recent years, she was active in the Peppy Pioneers of Otter Lake and the senior citizens group of Deerfield Township.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Kesel of North Branch; son, Robert Strasser of Waterford; granddaughter, Shauntay Kesel of North Branch; sister, Bertha Morrow of Eastpointe; brother, Arthur Zado of Eastpointe; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Kesel in 1979; and her parents.
