Mrs. Muriel Holliday, 60,
530 4th St. S., was pronounced
dead on arrival at Riverview
Hospital at 2:15 p.m. Saturday.
The former Muriel Waid
was born Oct. 11, 1915, in the
town of Dayton, Waupaca
County, the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Benjamin Waid. She
married Von L. Holliday on
June 8, 1948, and he died on
April 5, 1956.
Mrs. Holliday taught
elementary education in the
Wisconsin Rapids School
District and was principal at
Irving School for many years.
She was a member of United
Methodist Church, Elks
Ladies, and the American
Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving is a brother,
Kenneth, Waupaca.

A memorial service for
Muriel Holliday will be held at
7 p. m. Wednesday in the
United Methodist Church. The
Rev. Milton Feldt will officiate.
It has been requested by
Kenneth Waid, Rt. 3,
Waupaca, Mrs. Hollday's
brother, that memorials be
designated to the charity of
the donor's choice.
