George Andrew Ballard, 68, died of dropsy at his home, 604 North Bozeman, Wednesday morning, November 2, at nine o'clock. He had not been well for about four months, and had been confined at home about five weeks. Arrangements have not been made for the funeral.

Mr. Ballard was born in Indiana, February 23, 1868. He came to Bozeman in 1906, from Oklahoma, and was married in Butte in December, 1911, to Miss Laura K. Curtis of Manhattan. They lived in Manhattan for a short time, and then moved to Bozeman, where they have since made their home. Mr. Ballard was in Dillon some time, returning home a few weeks ago.

He is survived by his widow at the home in Bozeman, by three children, by his mother in Kansas and six brothers and one sister in Oklahoma.
