POYNETTE – Mr. Bert E Curtis age 72 of rural Poynette died Thursday Oct 25 1984 at Madison General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Monday Oct 29 at 1:30 p.m. at the Pflanz Funeral Home Poynette with the Rev Joyce Alford officiating. Burial will follow at the Inch Cemetery Township of Dekorra. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Curtis was born on Dec 23 1911 in the Township of Dekorra to Raymond and Pearl (Teeter) Curtis. He was preceded in death by his parents one sister and one granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife: Gladys at home four sons: Roger (Pat) Curtis, Poynette, Harlan (Carol) Curtis, Pardeeville, Robert (Sharon) Curtis, Arlington, Ronald (Gloria) Curtis, San Antonio, Texas, and one step-son Donald (Marge) Starr Portage; one daughter: Mrs Robert (Gloria) Henze, Arlington, one brother: Warren (Lucille) Shaw Poynette two sisters: Mrs Eva McFarlane DeForest and Mrs. Grace Lane, Scotts Bluff Neb; 28 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren; and other near relatives and many friends.
