Memorials may be made to Faith Promise Fund of First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Davis died Saturday, May 23, 1992. Born in Norway, he was a son of the late Luther Edgar and Maggie Rowell Davis. An Army veteran of World War II, he retired as owner and operator of Davis Trim Shop and was a member of Friday Morning Men's Breakfast and Bible Study Group and a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Edith Robinson Davis; a daughter, Carol Davis of Orangeburg; a son, Leland Davis, Jr. of Orangeburg; brothers, Welborne Davis Sr. of Orangeburg and Cecil Davis of Liberal, KS; and sisters, Mildred Boltin and Marian Kennemore, both of Orangeburg.
