Caldwell James Aiken, 66, passed away June 4, 2016. He was born November 8, 1949 in Columbia to the late Jack Deaton Aiken and Rosa Lee Westmoreland.

He was a graduate of Dreher High School and a Navy Veteran. He was a loving man, daddy, grandpappy, brother and friend. Caldwell loved Nascar racing and was an avid Gamecock fan. Our hearts are deeply saddened and he will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his sons: Deaton Aiken (Jessica), C. J. Aiken (Marie); daughters: Cori Wyatt (John) and Stormie Aiken; grandchildren: Halee, Kaleb, Lexi, Kaden, Kinsley and Skylar Aiken, Tyler Wyatt, Haley and Nick Thomas; God-daughter: Krista Collins; sister: Jackie Griffin (Bill). He was predeceased by a brother, Bill Aiken.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to Gaston Youth Baseball Park, POBox 697, Gaston, SC 29053.
