LeRoy Brown belonged to my friend, Deborah Malenfant. When Deb could no longer take care of LeRoy, she gave him to me. He was ten years old and Deb passed away two years later. I was blessed to have him another ten years. He was polydactyl on both upper feet, having eight toes on both of them.
He started losing bowel control and was not absorbing any of his food. He was actually eating anything - even brocolli and spaghetti - things he would never have eaten in the past. He got reed thin. On June 27, I had him euthanized and sent him back to Debbie, his "rightful owner." I'm sure she met him on the Rainbow Bridge.
