"Carmi" (pronounced Car-me) was a loving cat that kept me company for many years. He was a pure-bred Abyssinian with lots of personality, intelligence and a very loud purrrrr.
He always greeted me at my door when I came home; made me laugh at the funny things he would do; took an interest in what I was doing all the time (especially in the kitchen); followed me around room to room because he did not want to be alone and slept with me every night...he was my best friend. He sometimes hugged my hand when I petted him and tilted his head with love when we made eye contact.
~MY HERO~
He was my hero because he saved my life one early(about 4am)morning. He woke me up by walking all over me while I was sleeping in bed and didn't stop until I was awake (barely)and got up out of bed. I realized that there was a gas leak from the stove burner and opened all the windows and door of the apartment.
God Bless his little soul...
Sadly, he died unexpectedly and suddenly one evening in my arms with a heart attack.

Grave has a spiral plant stand with potted plants on it. Carmi's grave is marked with bricks circling around it and also has a bunny, frogs figurines on it.
