Vester Birge
Funeral services for Vester W. Birge, 62, of Altheimer, who died Monday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hale-South Funeral Home by Reverend Joe W. Atchison. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born at Scranton (Logan County), he was a son of Mrs. Bessie Keel Birge of Altheimer and the late Charlie Birge. He was a farmer and a Baptist.
Other Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Birge; four sons, Donal Birge and Danny Birge, both of Pine Bluff, and Ronnie Birge and Tony Birge, both of Altheimer; two daughters, Mrs. Sissy Williams and Mrs. Vickie Davis, both of Pine Bluff; and 16 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Harris, Garland Brown, Harry Hickerson, Truman Price, Paul Price and Harold Price.
The family will be at the home at Altheimer.
