BRUCK - Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Hoffman Bruck, 84, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church with Dr. Ronald L. McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Born on February 26, 1915, in Pierce County, GA, Mrs. Bruck died on Monday, August 2, 1999, at her home. She was a former beautician; a member of the Order of Eastern Star; American War Mother; and Disabled American Veterans SS Chapter 26 Auxiliary. Mrs. Bruck was also a member of Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Bruck. Survivors include her two sons, Robert G. Varnadore and Lee H. (Gail Shepherd) Varnadore, Sr; four grandchildren, Kemberly Kay Hull, Tina C. Watkins, Vicky L. Varnadore and Lee H. Varnadore, Jr; four great grandchildren, Joshua D. Hull, Michelle Lee Paige, Michael Joseph Paige and Elizabeth Ashley Paige; numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeast Florida. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd. So, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday
