She was loved by many, hated by few (and she didn't care).
She loved her family, especially her mother, children, nieces, and nephews (and helped to raise them).
Her homegoing service was held on January 2, 2005 at the Olivet Institutional Baptist Church in Clinton, NC. Many people came to bid her farewell, as there were folks standing outside and in the dining room. She was given a beautiful eulogy by both friends and family, and the Rev.
