Aunt Evelyn passed away on Saturday. She will not have a funeral (per her desires), as she wished to be cremated and have her, Woody's, and their dog's ashes spread on water in Florida.

She had a bowel perforation, colostomy infection, water retention and eventually her lungs, kidneys, and bowels shut down. Smitty put her in hospice for the last few days, and she was not coherent the last two days, but was not in pain with the help of morphine. Patty Huffman (Smitty's sister) stayed with her the last night and said she held up her arms and spoke to Eli and Herbert. Smitty saw her right before she died on Saturday. He is taking care of all details, as usual. It's sad. She had a wonderful life, but was in a lot of pain the last couple of years. She stayed active until the end.
