Hazel Beatrice Melton, 91, passed from this life on December 17, 2010. She was born on February 4, 1919.
Her husband, Clint Ray Melton and one grandson, Michael Melton preceded her in death.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory four children, Gary Dean Melton, Joan R. Chesser, Sharian June Dennis and Renetta Shrae Godbee; three son-in-laws, DeWayne Chesser, Foy Dennis, Dr. Richard Godbee; and one daughter-in-law, Nancy Melton. She leaves behind ten precious grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, December 20, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel with interment to follow at Portales Cemetery.
