Tony Paul Duran 40 passed away on April 11th 2004 Easter Sunday afternoon at St Anthony's Central in Denver Co. He was born at the Denver General Hospital on July 14th 1963 to the parents Robert & Emily Duran. He is survived by his wife Melody & two daughters Dvonne & Janelle, grandaughter Brooklynn & Mother-in-Law Prisella Hand. Tony also has three brothers, Robert, Randy & Johnny Duran along with one sister Elizabeth Sandoval.

Tony had a career in professional boxing. Boxing became his life. Tony fought some of the best boxers in the world. He was very athletic. He was good in all sports. He once kicked a 48 yard field goal to win a game for his high school football team. Not only was he a trainer in boxing, but also coached his daughters soccer team. Tony also enjoyed fishing. He always found the time to fish since he was a kid. Most of all, Tony had God in his life. He attended his church on regular bases, and also was a volenteer for there weekly bingo. How he found time...I dont know. He was then diagnosed with latex allergy. He suffered so much he felt helpless that he took his own life.

Tony's note;

No matter who you are, no matter where you been, no matter what you have done. God is madly in love with you. The bible says if you come to him he will in no way cast you out. Everyone is welcome to him. It dosent matter what race your from. It dosent matter what background you have. It dosent matter how you grew up. Nows the time to come to him and give your all to him. You see, God is in love with you...

Tony is loved and will never be fogotten. I Also lost my daughter to suicide. Her name was Deanna Duran. Please visit both their sights with all your Love. Also his story is on westword.com....Also a special thanks to r77ortiz for sponsoring Tonys page.
