Kenneth Roediger was a Highway Patrolman for the California Highway Patrol. He worked 2 years for the Police Force, dying in the line of duty at age 24. Officer Roediger was attempting to arrest a suspect at a traffic stop, the Officer forced the suspect to the ground, trying to handcuff him. They began to struggle, the suspect grabbed Officer Roediger's gun and shot him with it. Officer Roediger's partner returned fire and killed the suspect.
