Country Musician, Comedian. He was one half of the country music comedy and entertainment duo "Homer and Jethro" with Kenneth C. "Jethro" Burns. They were awarded a Grammy for Best Comedy Performance in 1959 for "The Battle of Kookamonga", and are in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
