Olivia, her mother, Sarah, and sister, Monica, were victims of domestic violence. Her mother's boyfriend took his own life after murdering them.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Gonzalez; sister, Monica Gonzalez; and paternal grandfather, Profirio Gonzalez Sr.
