Services for Calton Reid Boswell were held on Friday, June 13th 2014 at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery Pavilion, the Rev. Jeremy Blocker officiated and with full military honors.

Calton was born on June 23, 1942 to Robert Haywood and Bertha Scarborough Boswell in Alco, La. he passed away on Tuesday, June 10th 2014 in Leesville at the age of 71 yrs 11 mths and 19 days. He was a graduate of Simpson High School and LSU with a Masters in Education. He was a Veteran having served for several years in the Air Force and worked as a Criminal Investigator for the IRS. He also served as Professor at LSU Alexandria and former administrator in the Houston School District. He loved to fish and be with his family, friends and was a member of Simpson Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Two sisters: Margaret Martin "Sis" and Jeanette Simmons. One Brother Billy Boswell "Billy Bob"

Survivors are one son of Denton, Tx; Granddaughter of Livingston, Tx; Two Nephews; Two Nieces; His Best Friend, Ray; Host of cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lord and Dr. Donnavan, Jeff Johnson and staff of The Woodlands and Gamble Hospice for all love and care given to Calton.

Servicers were under Jeane's Funeral Service 100 East Union ST. Leesville.
