Mr. R. E. Bentley, 84 years of age, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Natchitoches, LA. He was born May 13, 1930 in Nevada, TX to Howard Bentley and Ethel Thurman Bentley. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked as a mechanic for Kraft Foods, primarily in Garland, TX but ultimately retired after 45 years of service in Lehigh, PA.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of Natchitoches; sister of Rockwall, TX; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Service honoring his life were held at the Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
