Rusty graduated from Bixby High School with the Class of 1958. He enjoyed farming, gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, going out to eat, camping, going to auctions and visiting with friends. The family joke was "Trusty Rusty" or "Shady Grady".
Rusty was preceded in death by his parents: Graydon Flud, Sr. and Nora Flud and his sister, Emma Jean O'Hern.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Flud of Jenks, his son, Roger Flud of Glenpool, his daughter, Anita Stevens and her husband, Conan of Glenpool, his brothers, Michael Flud and his wife, Beth of Okmulgee, Richard Flud of Bixby, Alfred Flud of Claremore, Jerry Flud of Keams Canyon, Arizona, his sister, Rebecca Tiger of Clewiston, Florida; his grandchildren, Seth Stevens, Drake Stevens, Haley Stevens, Kayla Stevens, Jessica Sisemore, Francesca Flud, Alyvia Flud, Jackson Flud along with other family members, friends and acquaintances.

Funeral service - 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Glenpool, OK. Reverend Jason Yarborough will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
