Murel Hunter and Linda Gant were united in marriage on October 27, 1962 at Stillwell, Oklahoma. They had recently celebrated 49 years of marriage.
Murel worked as the Vice President of Community Bank, retireing in 2005. He also worked for the Hunter Insurance Agency.
Murel and Linda were members of First Baptist Church, Glenpool. In his spare time, Murel enjoyed golfing, traveling to the beach and spending time with his grandchildren.
Murel was preceded in death by his father James M. Hunter and his son Dan.
Murel is survived by his beloved wife Linda of the home; Mother, Inous Hunter of Glenpool, Oklahoma; 2 sons, Dirk Hunter and Kevin Hunter (Rebecca); Brother, Jay Hunter (Wilma) and Sister, Carol Coats.
