Prior to retiring he worked as a Pit Boss and Floor Person at Harrah's Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. He was predeceased by his father: James Furgione. He is survived by one son: Steven Furgione and his wife, Brandy of Hammonton, one daughter: Stefanie Furgione of Hammonton, his mother Mildred Furgione of Hammonton, his caretakers, Sergio and Lana, and many cousins, aunts and uncles. A Viewing will be held Thursday 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at St. Martin DePorres R.C Church, S. Egg Harbor Road and Park Avenue in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
