Mrs. Mary Nellie Harvey, 88, of Route 1, Hinton, died Sunday at at 12:10 a.m. in a Hinton hospital after a long illness.

Born in Raleigh County, July 25, 1891, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Martha Beckelheimer Fitzpatrick.

Having lived most of her life in Summers County, Mrs. Harvey was a member of the Upland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.A. Harvey and a son, Alpha Harvey.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Brandon of Upland, Mrs. Myrtle Adkins, of Keatley Springs and Mrs. Martha Headington of Claire, Mich.; four sons, Arvel, Lloyd and Donald, all of Nimitz, and Clifford of Bellepoint; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Ratcliffe of Nimitz; 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Ronald meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton with Elder Arvel Neely officiating. Burial will be in the Upland Cemetery.
