N V Ellison of Crow, Raleigh county, died on Aug 9 after a very short illness.
Mr Ellison was sick only 30 minutes. He was working on Coal River at the time of his death and the remains were sent to his late home for burial, which took place on Tuesday afternoon.
Mr Ellison was 58 years old was born in Mercer county. He is survived by a wife and seven children. One brother, W N Ellison of Elk Knob, one sister Ms Emma McMaham of Ballard and many other relatives.
Mr Ellison will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He was a foreman for Raleigh Lumber Co for 22 years.
Mrs C H Stoddard of Brooklin is a niece of Mr Ellison.
