CRESCENZO, DONALD P., D.D.S., 75 - of Hammonton, passed away Wednesday February 27, 2008 at his residence. Born in Hammonton, he was a lifelong resident. Donald was a 1950 graduate of Hammonton High School, 1953 graduate of Georgetown University and 1957 graduate of Georgetown Dental School. He was a member of the American Dental Assoc. Donald opened his dental practice in 1960 and operated until his retirement in 1996. He received the Nice Going award in 2000 from the Hammonton Chamber of Commerce for outstanding leadership and devoted service to the community. He was the past-president of Hammonton Board of Education, past-president of Hammonton Exchange Club, past-chairman of Board of Trustees of Atlantic Community College and a former member of St. Joseph High School Booster Club. He served in the US Navy as 2nd Lt. during the Korean Conflict. Predeceased by his parents William and Jennie, his son Peter and his brother William, Donald is survived by his wife Kathleen (nee Parisi), his sons Donald M.D. and his wife Maura of Sylvania, OH, Michael and his wife Marie, Steven and his wife Jennifer and David, D.D.S. and his wife Stacey all of Hammonton. His brother Robert of Hammonton, sister Rita Mae Griggs of Lakehurst. Loving grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Christopher, David Jr., Nicholas, Alexandra, Kaitlyn, Colby, Caroline, Sarah and Kelley Crescenzo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday 6:00-9:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, Third & French Sts., Hammonton. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:00 a.m. at the church.
