Daniel Wayne Steele, 36, of Bentonville died on Monday, September 3, 2007 at Northwest Medical Center of Bentonville.
He was born on May 5, 1971 in Fort Smith , Arkansas to Kenneth Wayne Steele and Patsy Sue Oliver.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rogers and an employee for Wal-Mart's Information System Dept. for the last 13 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing video games and riding his Honda Shadow Motorcycle.
He is survived by both of his parents; his wife of six years, Amber Steele of the home; son Philip Daniel Steele who will be brought into this world on September 18, 2007 ; two daughters Olivia Daniele Steele and Hanna Brooke Dearing both of the home; and two sisters, Cindy White and husband Paul of Lavaca and a half sister Angie Hotella of Sallisaw, OK.
A funeral service will be held on 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Rogers .
Interment will follow in Bentonville Cemetery .
Of all the goals he reached I'm proudest of the one he made at age 16 to accept Jesus Chris as his personal Savior. Among his other achievements He gradurated from the University of Ankansas in 1993 in the top 10% of his class with a degree in Computer Engineering.

We are very saddened to inform you that we lost an ISD family member yesterday. Daniel (Danny) Steele passed away Monday afternoon. Danny started at Wal-Mart in 1994 and spent most of his career on the Unix Store Engineering team, and also spent 4 years on the Time & Attendance team. Danny's wife, Amber, was also a Wal-Mart ISD associate for a few years and left to work in the medical field. Danny and Amber have two daughters and are expecting a third child this month.

Danny was a very talented programmer and UNIX engineer, and served as a great example to everyone with whom he worked. He was a very dedicated and committed Wal-Mart associate and his life truly touched many of us in the division in a very positive way. He will definitely be missed.

Please continue to keep Amber, their children and Danny's extended family in your thoughts and prayers.

We are connected...my child and I...by an invisible cord...not seen by the eye...It's not like the cord that connects us 'till birth...this cord can't be seen by any on earth....This cord does its work...right from the start...It binds us together....attached to my heart...I know that it's there...though no one can see...the invisible cord from my child to me......The strength of this cord is hard to describe...It can't be destroyed...it can't be denied.....It's stronger than any cord man could create....It withstands the test...can hold any weight.....And though you are gone...though you are not here with me....This cord is still there...but no one can see......It pulls at my heart...I am bruised...I am sore....But this cord is my lifeline...as never before......I am thankful that God connects us this way....A mother and child....death can't take it away!

You never said you were leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why
A million times I needed you
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly and in
Death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That know one could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God took you home

Happy little Memories
Go flitting though my mind,
And in my thoughts and memories,
I always seem to find,
The picture of you face,
The memory of your touch,
And all the little things,
I come to love so much.
You cannot go beyond my thoughts
Or leave my love behind.
Because i keep you in my heart,
And forever on my mind!

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes,
and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be
any more pain." Revelations: 21:4
