O B Davis, a resident of Chesapeake, died Oct. 23, 2000 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was born in Seminole, OK to Elijah and Nina Belle Davis in 1930. After serving in the Navy, he married Martha A. Hipps of Norfolk. He lived in Hampton Roads for most of his life, working in the finance business for many years and retiring from the U. S. Postal Service in 1992. He is survived by Martha, son Jon of Norfolk, and daughter Kimberly Burrell and husband Tim of Portsmouth.
