Mack Lester was married twice first to Martha Geneva "Spencer" Lester for 14 years who passed away in 1961, he married second Dorothy Joan Moore, he had children in both marriages.



THE PARIS NEWS, Tue., Nov. 14, 1995, p.12A. 'Mack Lester, 71, 1418 W. Shiloh, died Monday, Nov. 13, 1995, at his home. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Lester was born June 5, 1924, in Okema, OK, a son of Jim and Alice Winkle Lester. He married Joan Moore Sep. 30, 1961. He was a machinist and was a member of the Baptist church. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Billy Mack Lester of Blossom, Mack Lester Jr. of Detroit, Thomas Lester of Paris and Timmy Lester of Blossom; four daughters, Nancy Evans of Austin, Becky McCool, Joan Ann Green and Mary Alice Lester, all of Paris; and one brother, Rufus Lester of Sumner. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Sue Herrington in 1979, and a son, Tony Lester, in 1965.'
