Musician. He organized and performed with the world famous "Statesman Quartet." Under his leadership the "Statesmen" became the first gospel quartet to be featured on national television. He also scripted and starred in the show's commercials for Nabisco. He was elected to the Georgia Hall of Fame and served as the state's Goodwill Ambassador.
