Amon was a revolutionary Soldier first in May 1775 at New Fairfield, Ct. again in May 1777 in the Ct line, and again in April 1781 at Boston to fill vacancies in the MA. line. He applied for a pension in 1818. He lived in CT, Ludlow, MA, Danby, VT, Chanango Cty, NY, French Creek Chautauqua Cty and Mayville, NY and in Clymer where he died. A land deed dated 10 May 1771 identifies his father and grandfather. Eunice: Daughter of Job and Abigail (Cooley) Pease. Eunice was the sister of Mary Pease who m. Amon's brother Samuel. Elizabeth: The Jamestown (NY) Journal on June 10, 1829 reported the marriage of Elizabeth and Amon. Elizabeth Waasson was age 56 and Amon was age 79 at the time of this marriage. She is called Warson in some reports and at marriage was called "Mrs" Wasson/Warson.
