Mrs. W.E. Andrew, 84, pioneer woman of Warren County, died at her home in Colfax Tuesday following several months' illness. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Spring Hill Methodist church.
Mrs. Andrew came to Warren county when five years old and until 10 years ago lived in this county.
Her parents moved to a log cabin near Greenbush and from there moved near Lothrup, but returned to Greenbush where they bought a farm.
Following Mrs. Andrew's marriage her home also was near Spring Hill where she lived for 30 years.
Surviving are her husband and four children, two sons, Hillis and Merrill of Indianola, and two daughters, Miss Carolyn Andrew of Colfax and Mrs. I.F. Salisbury of Colorado Springs, Colo.
